Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Hyderabad was formed in 1961 after its separation from Karachi Board. Now Hyderabad Board organizes the annual and supply exams of matric and intermediate classes for Hyderabad District and its surrounding districts. SSC exams are held in March and April while HSSC exams are organized by the board in May and June. Every year, thousands of registered regular and private students participate in these matric and intermediate level annual exams under BISE Hyderabad. Hyderabad Board conducts written and practical papers separately. April and September are the months during which the new academic year of matric and intermediate classes starts for the students of BISE Hyderabad respectively. For this new academic year of SSC and HSSC classes, the affiliated schools and colleges of Hyderabad Board starts the registration and admission process for the students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th class couple of months before the start of the new academic year. This admission process completes in April and September for the students of SSC and HSSC class. BISE Hyderabad issues model papers for SSC and HSSC students almost every year as these model papers contain the latest paper pattern and examination syllabus of the board and BISE Hyderabad adopts the new examination syllabus and paper pattern almost every year in order to raise the standard of education and examination. These model papers are available from the official site of the board. Past papers inform the students about important questions in the exams and they are available from the market. Date sheets are very important for examinational point of view as they inform the students about the examination schedule. Along with that, roll number slips are exclusive for every individual student as they tell the students about their roll number, examination venue & time table and other important details. Date sheets are uploaded at the official site of the board around two months before the start of the exams while roll number slips are mailed to the students one month earlier than the start of the exams. Incase students could not receive their roll number slips, they can also take the slips from the office of the board. After two or three months of the annual exams of SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2, Hyderabad Board declares the results of these exams for the students. These results are uploaded at the official website of the board while the board also posts the result cards of the students to their addresses which reach the students few days after the result.
